| | From Sandra | | | We were three adults and three kids( 8,10 and 10), and despite the melting heat ( the water spray down was LOVED by the kids) we had a great time. This was our first game, and my partner,( in the power chair) was pleased to hear #5 was from his neck of the woods. Greg lived in St Pete's Florida for a number of years before moving up a bit to Atlanta, and being American.... is more into baseball than hockey (give me time....lol, but he's getting me into baseball too so its a good balance) difficulties amongst other things, but were watching the game throughout and were even noticing things that I missed.. like runners who were going to try to steal bases...and where the balls ended up in the stands. and they figured out why they were "watering the dirt" before the game and why that one bat broke.. ( I don't think the invisible laser from the other team, or termites were really likely... but they made for interesting and fun theories!) and volunteers and other attendees) that we met. every one was polite, a smile on and a genuine feel of wanting to be a part of the team.
